What knowledge will I acquire with this Master's?
In this master's, you will acquire the knowledge that will allow you to start developing the professional activity of a financial advisor. It will also prepare you to take the exam for a financial industry professional certification.

Students who have possession of an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area that empowers in the country issuing the degree for access to Master's degrees.
Goals
The preparation of the students will have as objectives:
- Obtain an official degree with a high specialization in Financial and Actuarial Economics from a Public University.
- Prepare students to obtain international professional certifications such as the European Financial Advisor (European Financial Advisor) and/or the European Financial Planner (European Financial Planner), awarded by the Spanish Association of Financial-Wealth Advisors and Planners, which depends on the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA).
Although the focus of the program is primarily professional and academic, it does not represent an obstacle to accommodate research due to the depth and timeliness of the topics covered.

Admission
The requirements for access to the proposed degree are according to article 16, Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by Royal Decree 861/2010, of July 2:
- To access the official Master's degrees, it will be necessary to hold an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution belonging to another State that is part of the European Higher Education Area that empowers there to access teachings of Master.
- Likewise, graduates in accordance with educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area will be able to access without having their qualifications approved, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of training equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and empower in the country issuing the degree for access to postgraduate education. Access by this means will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree that the interested party is in possession, nor its recognition for other purposes than that of taking the Master's degrees.
General access criteria:
The specific degrees that will facilitate access to the Master are the following, included in the bilingual and online modality:
- Bachelor or Degree in Business Administration and Management
- Degree in Financial and Actuarial Economics
- Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Bachelor or Degree in Economics
- Diploma in Business Sciences
- Degree in Engineering or Industrial Organization
- Double degrees in Law and Business Administration
- Other degrees or official titles that include finance or business economics in their study plan.
Conditions or special access tests:
Where appropriate, if necessary, assessment of the student's curriculum, taking into account their professional experience, their projection in relation to the objectives of the master, as well as their academic record.
In the event that the demand for candidates for the University Master exceeds the supply of places, the person in charge of the Master will take into account the student's academic record, the affinity of the degree that is accessed with the University Master studies, the knowledge related to it, professional experience in the financial field, as well as the candidate's level of English.
In the case of foreign students, they must prove a sufficient level of the Spanish language through a personal or telephone interview with the Master's Management.
The criteria for and admission procedures will not vary so much if the master is done in person or not in person.
Offer of places: 100 places. If the minimum number of students foreseen is not reached in a course, the University may choose not to open the teaching group.
