Master (60 ECTS)
Academic Requirements:
- Completed degree from a public or officially recognised university/higher education institution in a relevant field.
- At least a “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent earned in your previous degree.
- Your undergraduate degree should be worth 240 ECTS credits.
Professional Experience:
For some 60-ECTS master programmes, you will need to have achieved one year of professional work experience before starting your studies.
English Level:
- Proof of English skills.
- If you do not meet the English skills requirements, we offer the free-of-charge IU English Language course. This is available to you if you meet the other admission requirements.
- If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you do not have to prove your English skills.
Master (120 ECTS)

Curriculum
What is the core content? In your Master’s degree in Data Science, you’ll primarily study current developments in software and infrastructure engineering, as well as Big Data technology. As you work through each of these individual topics, the key focus will be on practical problem-solving skills. The aim of this course is to prepare you to work as a specialist developing challenging data science applications and systems in both the private and public sectors.

Cambridge Assessment International Education / High School Diploma Study Pathway. IU is the first online university partner of Cambridge International's high school diploma pathway.
