Career Opportunities
Excellent job prospects await you wherever there’s a need for interdisciplinary expertise in business and technology. Once you’ve completed your degree, you could work as:
Project Manager
As a project manager with a focus on technology, you are responsible for the development of new components, for example. Among other things, you take care of the introduction of new production lines or innovative test tracks for user vehicles at a truck manufacturer. You take on tasks in the areas of planning, coordination, leadership, and marketing. With the help of project management tools, you always keep an eye on performance, quality, deadlines, and costs in cooperation with your team.
Quality Manager
As a quality manager in the technical area, you ensure that product, material, and service quality and the associated processes are constantly improved. You work to meet all customer requirements and to make the manufacturing processes efficient. To do this, you analyse potential weak points, develop solutions, and put them into practice. Within the scope of your tasks, you work closely with various specialist departments.
Engineering Project Managers
Engineering Project Managers supervise demanding large-scale projects, evaluate customer inquiries, and design solutions. As part of their job, they deal with suppliers, specialist departments, and authorities involved in the realisation of their projects. Their business management know-how enables them to assess risks and calculate costs. Until the successful commissioning, they check technical offers and support their team with advice in case of problems or challenges.
