Introduction
Lean Six Sigma provides organisations with a systematic approach to enhance profitability and overall business performance, as well as improving their productivity and customer satisfaction.
Any business process can benefit from the Lean Six Sigma methodology when properly applied and sustained. This is relevant to multiple areas of business, including operations, services, manufacturing, design, purchasing and human resources, for example.
A Yellow Belt will be able to demonstrate an understanding of processes by using the simple tools and techniques of Lean and Six Sigma to gather data, participate in problem-solving teams, and add their personal experiences to the exploration process of a Six Sigma project.
Led by Master Blackbelt Helen Mackenzie, this two-day course includes both practical and problem-solving exercises on the below topics to prepare participants to complete a project.
This two-day course is designed for anyone who wishes to understand more about what Lean Six Sigma can do for their organisation.
For example, this includes executives and managers in the following areas:
- Production
- Operations
- Quality Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Continuous Improvement
- Customer service
Taught as live via teams: 4 x 2.5-hour sessions.
